Ekiti: Kidnapped health workers regain freedom


The health workerswho were kidnapped in Ekiti state, Nigeria have regained their freedom.

The health workers were part of 11 persons rescued on Saturday after their family members reportedly paid a ransom.

Nurse Margaret Aladeneka, Dr Kikelomo Adegun, Dr Folasade Aladeneka, Dr Femi Omisore were some of the rescued victims.

A family member of the victims said they were dropped by a bush in Esure-Ekiti area of the state and some of the victims have been taken to a hospital for treatment.

Thank God they were found alive.
