Don't feel like heading to the spa? No problem, you can still get your glow on with a simple home facial. From experience, the results of steaming your face are more visible in the morning and I can guarantee you will love it. So let's get started.
1. Cleanse your face with your regular facial cleanser and rinse off.
2. Steam your face
Pour hot water in a bowl and add some salt. You may also add a few drops of coconut or olive oil too. Cover your head with a towel (so steam does not escape) as you steam your face. Do this for about 15 minutes (with short breaks to breathe).
3. Exfoliate
Using a facial scrub, gently scrub face with upward, circular motions. Rinse off and pat dry with a clean towel.
N.B - Use a gentle scrub if you have acne to avoid irritating your skin.
4. Apply a face mask
Leave the mask on for about 15 minutes, then rinse off and pat face.
5. Finish off with a face toner.
6. Moisturize face.
Wake up with a glow....
