Australian doctor: A jihadist and sexual predator

Dr Tareq Kamleh, the Australian doctor seen in an ISIS propaganda video also sexually abused his patient.

From an online report:

He was a 'two-faced sexual predator' who once boasted of having checked the medical records of a former sex worker before having unprotected sex with her, it was claimed.

He would routinely boast of his sexual exploits, some of which should have cost him his job at various hospitals where he worked, according to former colleagues.

Kamleh reportedly claimed he had unprotected sex with a Royal Adelaide Hospital patient who was a former sex worker and intravenous drug user, only after he checked her medical records, according to The Australian.

He grew up in Perth with a Palestinian father and a German mother who converted to Islam and became "ultra-religious", a former associate said.

In a move that has left fellow workers at several Australian hospitals dumbfounded, Dr Kamleh appeared in a propaganda video for Islamic State this week where he spruiked its health services and asked other Muslim clinicians to join him.

The Medical Board is under pressure to deregister the doctor, who remains registered to practise medicine in Australia until September 30, 2015.

It has been confirmed Kamleh departed Adelaide for Kuala Lumpur on March 10. If he returns to Australia, he could be charged with counterterrorism offences, including joining a terrorist organisation. If convicted, he faces 25 years in jail.
