This letter proves doctors hate giving sick notes as much as you hate having to prove you're sick with a sick note.
Early in April, an Alberta teen, Kirby Reding (supposedly employed at Pizza Hut, according to Reddit user eaglel666) was down with a cold. His workplace demanded a note, and he got one, but it wasn't your typical sick note.
The note said the patient "sensibly stayed home from work," rather than spread his cold to his colleagues and customers.
The doctor wrote: "I have no test for the common cold and therefore believe him, however, you feel his time and mine should be wasted by making him sit in the walk-in clinic for hours and me spending time writing a sick note that I could be spending on people who genuinely need my attention."
Finally the doctor asks the employer to reconsider his policy on sick notes. "There are surely better ways of wasting your tax dollars," the doctor concluded.
Lol..
