Aisha Buhari Visits The Hospital On Christmas Day

Wife of the President, Mrs Aisha Buhari, on Friday visited Kubwa General Hospital in Abuja to distribute Christmas gifts to patients who spent their holiday in the hospital.

She used the opportunity to wish all Nigerians a happy and prosperous New Year ahead, whilst urging Nigerians to remain peaceful and law abiding.

During her visit to the hospital, she met a woman who had been abandoned by her husband.

The patient, Mrs Helen Agada had undergone multiple operations after she was admitted and was abandoned thereafter by her husband,

Mrs Buhari criticized the man saying, “I was not happy when I met a lady who had had several operations and her husband ran away and left her. I think men should have feelings for their wives.”

She reminded men to take better care of their wives and remain the pillars of their families.

I think it was pretty thoughtful of her to visit the hospital on Christmas day and hopefully, she'll help the woman with her bills.
