Facebook Founder, Mark Zuckerberg Criticized For Vaccinating His Daughter

On Friday, billionaire Facebook founder shared a cute picture of himself and his dolled-up daughter, saying, “Doctor's visit -- time for vaccines!”

Within hours, his post received more than 650,000 likes, as well as more than 20,000 comments debating the importance of vaccinating one’s children.

While many people posted comments supporting Zuckerberg's decision to vaccinate his child, some anti-vaxxers criticized him for exposing his baby to the "dangers" of vaccination.

“What kind of parent are you? Putting life saving chemicles (sic) in that baby! You'd think you loved her or something. Nonsense! Her natural baby tolerance and resistance is all she needs to fight crippling polio and life ravaging tuberculosis!” one tongue-in-cheek post read.

“What a little cutie!! Thanks for taking care of your baby (and other peoples' babies!),” said another.

“Why would you subject your wee little one to vaccines?!? I know your wife is a pediatrician but did you do your research on vaccines? I've seen, first hand the results of vaccines and it isn't worth it! Btw, I'm a retired R.N.,” one woman said.

One poster said that the tech entrepreneur with a net worth of more than $40 billion was profiting from sharing the cute picture of his daughter.

Anti-vaxxers stubbornly maintain that ingredients in vaccines may put children at risk of developing autism, despite the Centers for Disease Control and other health officials denying any such link.

As for me, I'm for vaccination and will remain so.
