This shocking surveillance footage shows a Russian doctor, Ilya Zelendinov, punching a patient to death in a hospital.
The Dec. 29 video, pulled from a hospital in Belgorod, shows the doctor pulling a 56 year old patient, Tevgeny Bakhtin off an exam table and pushing him into another room.
The patient had kicked a nurse earlier in the day, so when Zelendinov confronts him, he demands, “Why did you touch the nurse?”
A second man in a black coat tries to interfere and the surgeon, who Russian media have dubbed “the boxer doctor,” hauls off and beats him in a corner.
Belgorod’s Investigative Committee issued a statement Saturday saying that the cause of death was “trauma to the skull and brain from hitting the back of the head on the hard surface of the floor.”
The doctor has been fired from his job and could face up to two years in prison on account of causing death through negligence.
I must say the doctor fought like he had professional training. Haba!
