Kenyan Doctors Allowed To Advertise Their Services

Daniel Yumbya
Doctors in Kenya are ecstatic about a new law that gives them the freedom to advertise their services.

According to the Kenyan Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board (KMPDB) CEO, Daniel Yumbya, the new law allows hospitals and doctors to advertise the services they offer, as well as the cost of those services.

In an interview with NTV, Yumbya said the move will help enlighten patients about available health experts within their locality and hence help them make informed health choices.

Before the new law, advertising by doctors was prohibited and was an offence punishable by law.

I think if this type of law ever gets passed in Nigeria, it could become a CIRCUS ............or maybe not!
